Manhattan hosted the 82nd annual Columbus Day Parade on Fifth Avenue, celebrating Italian-American heritage, culture, and contributions to the United States.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul and Attorney General Letitia James joined the parade alongside community leaders and other participants. The event featured marching bands, cultural performances, and flags and groups representing Italian-American communities. Ray Dalio was named this year’s grand marshal.

The parade drew large crowds to Fifth Avenue, continuing a longstanding New York City tradition. More than 100 groups participated in the celebration, according to parade organizers.
