NEW YORK, May 27, 2026 — Tribeca X, the Tribeca Festival’s flagship program focused on brand-supported storytelling, has announced the inaugural Tribeca X Filmmaker of the Year Award, which will be presented to musician and creative director A$AP Rocky.
The award recognises creators working across music, fashion, film, and brand storytelling, with organisers highlighting Rocky’s multidisciplinary work spanning music videos, fashion campaigns, and visual production.
Tribeca X also unveiled its 2026 programming lineup and official selections for its annual awards, which will take place June 8–9 at Spring Studios in New York City as part of the 25th Tribeca Festival.
The two-day summit brings together figures from entertainment, media, advertising, technology, and the creator economy for discussions, screenings, and industry events.
This year’s programme includes appearances from Cedric the Entertainer, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, Michelle Khare, Dhar Mann, Taylor Rooks, Aurora James, and executives from companies including McDonald’s, AWS, Microsoft, and others.
Organisers said the programming will focus on the evolution of storytelling across platforms, including branded entertainment, creator-led production, and digital media ecosystems.
Tribeca X passes are available via TribecaFilm.com.
