The United States Ambassador to Bangladesh, Brett G. Christensen, has announced that registration is now open for the SelectUSA Investment Summit 2026, inviting Bangladeshi businesses to participate in the high-profile investment forum in Washington, D.C.
In a statement, the ambassador said the summit will take place from May 3 to 6 in Washington, D.C., bringing together thousands of participants from around the world. He described the event as a key opportunity for businesses to explore and plan investments in the United States.
The initiative, organized by the U.S. Embassy in Bangladesh, aims to connect representatives from Bangladesh’s growing industries with American economic opportunities. The delegation is expected to showcase Bangladesh’s business potential while engaging with U.S. stakeholders.
According to the ambassador, the summit will highlight innovation and entrepreneurship in the United States, which has remained the world’s leading destination for foreign direct investment for more than a decade.
He emphasized that the event offers valuable opportunities for companies seeking to establish new operations in the United States or expand existing ones. Participants will have access to an exhibition hall featuring economic development organizations from across the country, as well as sessions with industry experts, federal and state officials, and service providers.
The summit will also provide a platform for networking and gaining practical insights into the U.S. business environment.
