The upcoming Tribeca Festival is preparing for its milestone 25th anniversary edition, with organizers unveiling one of the festival’s largest and most ambitious lineups to date. The festival will take place in New York City from June 3 to June 14, 2026, bringing together filmmakers, actors, musicians, and creators from around the world.

According to festival organizers, the 2026 edition will showcase 118 feature films, including a record-breaking 103 world premieres, alongside 86 short films and a wide range of television, podcast, gaming, music, and immersive storytelling events. Founded in 2002 by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff following the September 11 attacks, the festival has grown into one of the world’s leading cultural platforms for independent and emerging storytelling.

This year’s festival is expected to feature major premieres, celebrity appearances, industry conversations, and special anniversary programming across Manhattan venues. Opening Night will include the premiere of Questlove’s documentary centered on the legendary band Earth, Wind & Fire, followed by a live performance with The Roots at the Beacon Theatre.

The festival has also announced a strong lineup of talks and special events involving prominent figures from film, television, music, and sports, including Paul Rudd, Dwyane Wade, and Bruce Springsteen. Organizers say the anniversary edition reflects Tribeca’s continued focus on diverse voices, innovation, and global storytelling.

Industry observers note that the festival arrives at a significant moment for international cinema, as global film festivals increasingly emphasize independent productions, auteur-driven projects, and cross-media storytelling experiences. Tickets and festival passes are currently available, while the full daily schedule and official lineup continue to expand ahead of the June opening.
