AIP Wire Desk, Dhaka- The United States has provided emergency medical and training equipment to the Bangladesh Coast Guard to strengthen its medical response and disaster relief capabilities.
According to the U.S. Embassy in Dhaka, the equipment was delivered on September 7 and 9 in Chattogram and Teknaf through the Overseas Humanitarian Assistance Shared Information System (OHASIS) project.
The donation includes 120 fully stocked trauma response bags and 21 CPR training mannequins for Bangladesh Coast Guard personnel across the region.
The U.S. Embassy said the assistance builds on longstanding U.S. support for Bangladesh’s Coast Guard and humanitarian response capabilities. It also described the initiative as part of broader U.S.
